A bit of info on Derek

Derek has been drawing since a young age. At the age of eighteen, he started in the tattoo industry. It was that setting and the artists that he met that have influenced his style of art. Often Derek blends brush painting and acrylics with air brushing. In the last year, Derek's subject matter has expanded to include portraits, landscapes, abstract- biomechanical, and graffiti. Interested in displaying the wonder of creation and prompting people's thoughts about it's origins, Derek loves to paint wildlife, landscapes and portraits. Photography is also a passion and was experienced with richness on an African safari this spring in Kenya. In the near future, Derek hopes to use art as a means to challenge young people and inspire conversation about spiritual issues, end times, the purpose of man, and the unseen realm.
